Located near the Regency town of Cheltenham, UK, this 16th-Century Elizabethan manor house hotel is set among eight acres of stunning countryside grounds, and proudly boasts a 4 AA Red Stars rating – reflecting exceptional service and hospitality.

  • Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway – A volunteer operated heritage railway in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire offering a round trip of 28 miles. It now operates steam and heritage diesel trains between Cheltenham Racecourse and Broadway, through some of the most spectacular scenery in the Cotswolds.
  • The Dragonfly Maze – This isn’t your typical English hedge maze. Here you need to solve the clues and puzzles as you work your way around the yew-tree maze, to find the golden dragonfly at the centre.

The Cotswold Way

If you’re feeling adventurous, why not challenge yourself to the famous National Trail called the Cotswold Way, a 102 mile walking route from the quaint market town of Chipping Campden down to the magnificent city of Bath.

This walking route is not for the faint hearted. It’s a real challenge and usually takes around 5 days to complete, although the wonderful views you get to see on this route are worth all the hard work! Follow the route here or you can choose to walk smaller sections of the route near to The Greenway if you wanted to stay local!

Take a short drive to the nearby Cotswold village of Bourton-on-the-Water and visit the Model Village! Bourton-on-the-Water is a charming village often related to as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’ because the village has a shallow river running through the centre. It’s a truly beautiful, quintessentially English village, where you will find a unique and interesting Model Village built of Cotswold stone to one-ninth scale and was opened in 1937.
