Finisterra means “end of the earth,” reflecting Martinhal’s location at the south-westernmost tip of Europe. Situated in its own secluded grounds at the center of the resort, this oasis of calm with 6 private treatment rooms is a place where the art of relaxation is taken seriously.

The spa offers a wide range of treatments for all ages — from babies up to grandparents — just ask for a list of treatments and choose one especially suited to you!

Pools

When it comes to pools, there’s no shortage at Martinhal Sagres, with 5 swimming pools located throughout the resort.

Pool Hangout: The Pool Hangout is located just above the beach and is sunk into a stylish wooden terrace. It overlooks the Beach Club Garden and is served by its own bar.

Village Pool: Two swimming pools grace the Village Square and are perfect for families. One generously sized pool spans indoors and outdoors. Adjacent is another smaller pool designed for toddlers. A juice and snack bar offers poolside service.

Oasis Pool: Youngsters in particular are drawn to the Oasis Pool, an imaginatively designed, beach entry, free-form swimming pool that forms the centerpiece of the Garden Houses area.

Club 98: Another generously sized pool forms part of Club 98, Martinhal’s tennis and sports center, and is popular among teenaged guests. Club 98 also includes a smaller sized pool ideal for toddlers.

Vilas Mimosa: Martinhal’s fifth pool area is located at the entrance of the resort. The 18m pool and adjacent baby pool are open during the summer months for the exclusive use of the Vilas Mimosa guests.

Pump Track is a great place for the whole family to enjoy! It makes bike riding easy and accessible, so you can have fun while improving your riding skills. Baby Concierge

Hassle-free travelling with babies and small children can at times be a challenge to achieve – but the resort team embraces this as a special opportunity to assist. Open for dinner from April through October, Os Gambozinos is an authentic Italian restaurant featuring a large selection of family-style daily specials to share … all made with love! Watch the masterful chefs perform their culinary skills in the open kitchen, creating handmade pizzas, luxurious risottos, delicious carvery, homemade soups and pastas. For younger guests, there’s a special children’s buffet and menu with all-time favorites. The atmosphere is informal and friendly. Parents can relax and enjoy their meal, while children entertain themselves at the play area in the Village Square. O Terraço

Pool Hangout

The Pool Hangout is a pool bar located a stone’s throw away from Martinhal Beach and is adjacent to As Dunas. A delicious and thirst-quenching selection of drinks, fresh fruit juices, and ice creams can be ordered at the bar. Plus, a selected menu of delicious hot and cold snacks is available. Here, guests are encouraged to be as laid-back as desired, since orders can be taken poolside by the prompt and attentive service staff.

Pop-up grill “The Wolf @ Martinhal” is located at Village Square. This unique spot offers a menu full of delicious take-away items for the whole family. By its very nature, this pop-up is only available at select times during the high-season.

For those looking to self-cater, Mercado offers a wide variety of take-away breakfast options with freshly baked bread, croissants and pastries, coffees, teas and natural orange juice.
